Maxar exploring sale of space robotics unit - Reuters

Maxar Technologies  (MAXR +7%) is considering a sale of its space robotics business, which could fetch more than $1B and allow it to pay down some of its $3.2B debt pile, Reuters reports.

Shares have fallen 45% YTD following the failure of its WorldView-4 satellite in January.

MAXR makes defense and maritime systems, radar geospatial imagery, space robotics, satellite antennas and communication subsystems.
