Apple also announced the company's largest-ever stock buyback plan, totaling $110 billion. Apple's share price surged by about 7% in after-hours trading.
Qualcomm Shares Jump Nearly 10%

The company also raised its full-year profit guidance and significantly increased investment in capacity. Novo Nordisk's shares initially rose slightly after the European stock market opened, but then turned lower. By the close of trading, its shares on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange in Denmark had fallen by over 2.7%.
International Oil Prices Fluctuate Slightly
In commodities, news emerged on Thursday that OPEC+ is expected to announce an extension of its production cut agreement at its meeting in June, supporting oil prices. However, weak demand concerns continued to weigh on investors. By the close of trading, US oil futures prices fell 0.06%, while Brent oil futures prices rose 0.28%.
International Gold Prices Dip Slightly
Investors assessed the possibility that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates high for an extended period, reducing the attractiveness of gold. International gold prices fell on Thursday.
