Liang Wu is a Senior Associate at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. He joined the firm in 2011 and focuses on investments in the Digital Growth Fund.
Before joining KPCB, Liang worked closely with KPCB colleague Mary Meeker at Morgan Stanley for nearly three years, focusing on publicly traded Internet companies and emerging technology trends. He was a co-author of Morgan Stanley’s Mobile Internet Report published in 2009, as well as various Internet Trends presentations from 2008 to 2010. Leveraging his education in history and economics as well as his background growing up in China, he aims to bring in a global and historical perspective in company and industry analysis.
Liang graduated from Yale University with distinction and holds a bachelor’s degree in history and economics.
