Digitimes sources say AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) delayed the launch of the 16-core Ryzen 3950X processor due to unsatisfactory clock speeds.
The sources say the delay isn't related to recent reports that supplier TSMC is struggling to keep up with 7nm demand.
AMD shares are down 1% pre-market to $30.35.
