Here is a short term graph of Plug Power, 45 minutes. Plentyof downtrends to break, on the RSI and MACD. Nice triangle is looking to bebroken, and which either way it goes can be dramatic. For the short termtrader, the questions are when will CEO Andy Marsh announce the name of theauto manufacturer, and who is the auto manufacturer. A lot of this news has toalready be baked into the stock price, but if Plug announces a name that will,in Andy's words, "make you shake your head" then there is potential fora new rally. Rumored German auto manufacturer Volkswagen may already be bakedinto the stock, and induce a 10%-20% rally. A name like Toyota or Honda may bea surprise to some and induce a sharper rally. This is purely speculation andmy intuition, but looking at the chart, a break out is in the imminent future.Keep in mind that other high flying momentum names have taken a hit and arelosing steam, so a rally may be muted.

Also keep in mind, there seems to be confusion among somemedia outlets and commentators, thinking that Plug is announcing a deal for aproduct that will be installed in an auto manufacturers cars. This is not thecase. Plug will be selling GenDrive units for forklifts to the anticipated automanufacturer. Plug Power is developing a fuel cell attachment for electric carsfor FedEx (Range Extenders), but that's in early stages of development.

Volume has been minimal on this recent drop (relativelyspeaking), and with the long term trend intact, chances are Plug  breaks to the upside.
