摩根大通的CEO在二季度财报电话会议上说，美国经济目前处于一个神奇的时刻。
在一般的经济衰退中，失业率上升，居民收入和存款下降，房价下跌，银行坏账相应增加。但是现在居民收入和存款上升，房价也在上涨，60%到70%的失业人员收入比有工作时更多。这些现象都来自政府的撒钱式经济刺激计划。

"In the normal recession, unemployment goes up, delinquencies go up, charges go up, home prices go down. None of that's true here. Incomes go down, savings go down. Savings are up, incomes are up, home prices are up. So, you will see the effect of this recession. You're not going to see it right away because of all the stimulus and the fact, 60% or 70% of the unemployed are making more money than they were making when they were working. So, it’s just very peculiar times."
