酷6 CFO沈潇同:Q4效果广告贡献80%营收

1、谈酷6的AA广告(效果广告)

 

提问:酷6营收中“按照效果付费的广告”占据多大比例?是CPC模式吗?

沈:80%.

 

提问:如何区分酷6展示广告和效果广告?

沈:

All revenues from Shengyue (80%) are AA and all revenues directly from advertisers (and their agents, not Shengyue) are Brand. Brand revenues are mostly carried over from previous quarters.

 

提问:是否能介绍一下“Shengyue”这家公司,酷6目前的广告代理是否全部归其管理?

沈:盛越是盛大集团旗下的广告代理公司, 也是我们采用的独家. 广告主有可能采用其自己的代理在盛越投放广告.

 

提问:目前酷6的广告主有多少?采用按照效果付费的广告模式以后,广告主数量有无增长?酷6按照效果付费的广告是如何收费的,每点击一次的价格是多少?

沈:Under the Application Advertising model, number of advertisers is less meaningful than before. Per our agreement with our agent Shengyue, we can't disclose the pricing mechanism of AA. When a user's uploaded videos generate enough clicks (and enough revenue), he gets paid.

 

提问:采用这种所谓效果广告模式以后,说服客户投放广告的成本有无降低?广告主对UGC内容的认同度如何?

沈:This model reduces the agency fee by a lot. Advertisers get on an online platform managed by Shengyue.

 

提问::和作者分成广告大概能占到多少?

沈:It's still a small percentage

 

2、谈酷6运营状况

 

提问:酷6四季度营收442万美元,但营业成本仍达423万美元,请问四季度营业成本都包括哪些成本?其中占比最大的成本是什么?

沈:Major cost items are bandwidth and salary.

 

提问:再问一个老问题,四季度亏损已经缩减到394万美元,请问预期2012年哪个季度可以扭亏?或者说酷6并不急于扭亏,而是还有其他业务扩张计划?

沈:Profitability is our most important goal now; we are never 并不急于扭亏. It's now very close, please follow us closely.

 

提问:从去年开始,酷6放弃使用巨额资金采购版权的视频经营模式,全面转向UGC,这意味着完全不同的玩法。请问2012年,酷6的业务重点及资金投入放在哪些方面?

沈:Our focus in 2012 will still be improvement of user experience and technology. Many new features will be added to our community www.myku6.com, and smoothness and clarity of videos will further improve.

 

提问:酷6最近的流量和用户增长情况如何?

沈:In our press release we announced 220 million UVs in Feb 2012, according to Ku6's internal tracking data.

 

3、、谈与youtube合作及竞争对手

 

提问:截止目前,酷6在Youtube的合作频道上提供多少段视频,点击情况如何?是否已取得营收?

沈:Our channel on YouTube is up and running, but since it's just starting, we don't have any numbers to share yet.

 

提问:请问是否能披露酷6与Youtube的合作如何取得收入?酷6会获得多大比例的广告分成?

沈:When YouTube sells ads on videos supplied by Ku6, it shares a percentage of the revenue with Ku6. Our agreement doesn't allow us to disclose the exact percentage.

 

提问:您怎么看待新浪微博和土豆合作,使微博用户可以将UGC视频上传并保存于土豆网上,导致土豆网近期用户和流量增加这件事。酷6网转型UGC,将来有类似的合作么计划么?怎样增强用户粘性?

沈:We also have cooperation arrangements with many SNS platforms, including Sina Weibo. We intend to further improve our user experience, i.e. ease of upload, community features, etc, and to use revenue sharing to keep user loyalty steady.

 

提问:UGC视频的盈利模式,是不是全世界都还在探索?

沈:The whole industry is exploring different business models. We think we are closer to profitability now than anytime before.
